In 2007, I embarked on an exciting journey as a commercial diver, fueled by ambition and nearing the end of my Engineering apprenticeship. Like many of us, I fell head over heels for commercial diving. It's the kind of job that spawns legendary stories at the pub, takes you to far-flung corners of the world, and becomes a lifestyle that consumes every aspect of your life.

Throughout my years in the industry, I've used various tool bags and observed what my fellow divers were using. I witnessed the modifications we all made to personalize and enhance our bags' usability. That's when I decided to put my creativity and experience to work and design a tool bag that surpasses all others.

It took over a year to bring this bag to life, starting with brainstorming sessions in the offshore coffee shop, where great ideas are born. I gathered input from everyone, conducted numerous subsea tests, from locking out of the bell to swimming in challenging currents, even hanging the bag on a single eyelet to see what would stay put. I collaborated with talented designers to create the ultimate commercial diver's tool bag.

The main larger pocket is designed to accommodate your bigger tools, complete with an internal D-ring to secure them with lanyards if you prefer. On one end, there's an external D-ring for clipping off items, while the other end features a split mesh pouch to keep inspection markers organized.

Moving to the lower and smaller pocket, it's perfect for your lighter tooling, like soft tape, builders' rules, and verniers.

Right between these two pockets, you'll find a built-in knife slot, specifically designed to hold a green river/victory knox knife. All you need is a male-female screw to secure it in place.

At OCD we pay attention to the little details that make a big difference. That's why both zips on our bags run the same way, from right to left. It's a clever design choice that ensures when you're subsea and hanging your bag on a magnet or bolt, both zips can be opened downwards. This way, there's no chance of any tools slipping away to their resting place unintentionally.

We take pride in the craftsmanship of our bags. All eyelets are made of brass, giving each bag a unique chameleon-like quality as they develop a beautiful patina over time. It's a bag that evolves and tells its own story.

When it comes to durability, we don't cut corners. The knife strap is made of durable neoprene, providing long-lasting use. Each edge of the bag is double stitched with marine-grade stitching, ensuring it can withstand the ruggedness of commercial diving. And to add an extra touch of durability and style, we've included a protective border that not only looks gangster but also enhances the bag's longevity.

And let's not forget about the rubber crab! It's a fun and playful addition to our bags, secured with a marine stitch. It adds a touch of personality to your diving adventures.
